Gretchen Kay Bennett

Gretchen Kay Bennett, 85, of Zanesville, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 a 12:10 p.m. at the Oaks at Northpointe, Zanesville. She was born February 22, 1933, in Wilmington, a daughter of the late John R. and Harriett Brann Nowold. She retired from Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital and was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Gayle (Larry) Aggas and Lisa Bennett; two sons, Paul A. (Robin) Bennett and Bruce W. (Patricia) Bennett; five grandchildren; Jayson (Amy Oxenrider) Garrett, Christopher Garrett, Nicholas Bennett, Maria Bennett and Heather (Christopher Rice) Bennett; and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Bennett, who died February 19, 1991; a sister, Veronica Irene Nowold and a brother, John R. Nowold Jr. Friends and family may call from 11:00 till time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M.
