He was a devoted husband and father who found his greatest joy in his family. Mike especially cherished his role as a father to his two daughters. Outside of his work and service, he had a deep passion for classic cars, drag racing, and took great pride in restoring his ‘67 Camaro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his brother, Danny Johnson; his sisters, Vickie Wiggins and Rita Johnson; his mother-in-law, Mary Arnold; his sister-in-law, Tracee Arnold; and his great-nephew, Jakob Driggs.
Mike is survived by his wife, Amy (Arnold) Johnson; his daughters, Maria Johnson and Josey Johnson; his brothers, Terry (Krista) Johnson and David Johnson; his father-in-law, Melvin Arnold; his brothers-in-law, Brent Arnold and James Wiggins; and his sister-in-law, Michele Johnson. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, Scott, Amy, Benjamin, Sam, Michael, Jennifer, Chad, Elaine, Trevor, and Marianne, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mike will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country and community, and the many memories he leaves behind with those who knew him.
