Gary P. Taylor

Gary P. Taylor, 82, of Zanesville, died at 7:35 A.M. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison-House, Zanesville. He was born December 23, 1942 in Cannelville, Ohio, a son of the late Merle Lewis and Marguerite (Mignon) Taylor. Gary worked for Ohio Ferro Alloy Corporation and in the oil fields. He was a member of the Eagles #302, and enjoyed fishing, sitting fireside and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, a son Gary Eugene (Janelle) Taylor and a daughter, Tina Taylor; grandchildren, Trista (Greg) Bertke, Nikki (Mark) Lane, James (Katie) Taylor and Shannon Ross; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Darla (Joe) Gatten; and a brother, Mike (Sue) Taylor.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Francis (Wickham) Taylor whom he married January 3, 1962; and sixteen brothers and sisters, James Lewis Taylor, Robert Eugene Taylor, Madeline Fern (Taylor) Trout, Maxine Gertrude Taylor, Gladys Aillene (Taylor) May, Merle Junior Taylor, Carrie Irene (Taylor) Buty-Bronkar, Ronald Lee Taylor, Donald Taylor, Peggy Ann (Taylor) Kimble, Janice Marie (Taylor) Fusner, Rosalie Sue (Taylor) Good, Shirley Jean (Taylor) Harper, Michael Joe Taylor Sr., and Randy Ray Taylor.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE ZANESVILLE. A

A burial will follow at Stovertown Cemetery.
