Gary Lee Smith, 86, of Granville, died at 12:02 A.M. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. He was born August 27, 1932 in Zanesville a son of the late Deane and Elizabeth Anderson Smith. Gary retired from AEP as a foreman after 43 years of service. He was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Allen Smith of the home; two sons, Randolph (Lisa) Smith of Sunbury and Rudy Smith of Columbus; and a sister, Constance Axline. Friends and family may call from 2-4 P.M. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Gary will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
