Florian Edward Mautz

Florian "Bill" Edward Mautz, 63, of Zanesville, died Saturday February 27, 2016, at his home. He was born February 17, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of the late James Henry Mautz and Janet Jones Ruby. He retired from The New Bakery after 30 years of service and an avid Harley rider. He is survived by two daughters, Chasity Mautz and Tera Mautz both of Zanesville; a son, Scott Mautz of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Jensen, Ethan, Kaedynce, Brenlynn; a brother, Steven (Cathy) Jones of Avondale; four sisters, Cheryl (Bill) Pransky of Duncan Falls, Karen Daw of Columbus, Janet (Rick) Beverlin of Gaysport, and Teri Sharrer of Sonora; a half-sister, Linda and a half-brother, Jimmy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Herb Ruby. A memorial gathering will be held from 4-6 P.M. on Friday March 4, 2016, at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where a celebration of life will follow at 6 P.M. with Bishop Lee Barnhart officiating.
