Fay (Gorrell) Starkey

Fay Starkey, 88, of Zanesville, died at 9:20 P.M. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born January 11, 1934, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Denver L. and Myrtle E. Edwards Gorrell. Fay loved her candy and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, David (Cheryl) Henderhan and Randy (Debbie) Henderhan; four grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Fay is preceded in death by her husband, Guthrie R. Starkey; a brother, Denver Gorrell Jr; a sister, Mary Sands; an infant son; and two infant brothers.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE ZANESVILLE with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Fay will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Guthrie at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
