Eugene R. Agin

Eugene Roy Agin, 83, of Zanesville, died at 4:50 pm on Tuesday, the 23rd of December, 2025. He was born September 21st, 1942, in Perry County, Ohio, a son of Meda (Weller) Agin and Clayton Agin. He was in the Army Reserves for several years, and was a member of the American Legion. He played Bluegrass music all across the state, with various musicians, primarily with accordion and keyboard. He worked at Anchor Glass Mold Factory for 51 years. He was a loving grandfather, father, and husband.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Sims) Agin, married for over 50 years, and his grandchild Lazarus Agin, as well as his friends Freddie and Deb Dodd, Steve Spires, Neil and Sue Williams, Carol Mix and Donna Miller.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 pm until time of funeral services which will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.
