Elsie Jeanette Noe

Elsie Jeanette Noe, 100, of Zanesville, died at 2:56 A.M. on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born June 6, 1926, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William and Agnes (Edwards) Lewis. She was a devoted homemaker and a dedicated member of Market Street Baptist Church. Her kind heart and friendly nature made her a friend to all who knew her. She especially loved baking cookies and found joy in sharing them with others.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark E. (Linda) Noe and David N. Noe; seven grandchildren, Danny Noe Jr., Douglas Anthony Noe-Clements, Tina (Scott) Forker, Jason Noe, Stephanie Hill, Lindsey (Jay) Gregory and Matthew Noe; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; special nieces, Christy (Butch) Wilson and Roxanne Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Neal N. Noe, who died June 30, 2015 and she married on March 1, 1946; a son, Danny D. Noe; two brothers and sister in laws, Charles (Arlene) Lewis and Tom (Martha) Lewis; and an infant granddaughter, Tammy Noe.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Market Street Baptist Church, 140 North 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio, with Rev. Mark E. Noe and Pastor Brian Owens officiating. Elsie will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Neal at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
