Eleanor Viola Bee

Eleanor Viola Bee, 98, died at 7:20 A.M. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born September 12, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George and Eula (Dickerson) Smith. Eleanor was a caring, sweet and loving person. She worked as a receptionist over the years at a bank during her 20 plus years in Naples, Florida. She was a devout member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Dustin (Kathy) Bee, Angie (Roger) Arbogast, Brian Bee and Alissa Bee; four great grandchildren, Gavin and Gage Bee, the sons to Dustin and Kathy; Slade Bee, the son of Alissa;, and Brett, the son of Brian.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Bee; her son, Terry Lee Bee; and her siblings.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY. Eleanor will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery alongside her beloved husband, Bud.
