Elaine J. Probasco

Elaine J. Probasco, 62, of Zanesville passed away in her home on April 28, 2025. She was born September 3, 1962, the daughter of Rose Mae McCall. Elaine was always busy, and loved to work. She enjoyed many things such as collecting Bear-related items and knick knacks, listening to country music, keeping her yard and growing flowers, but she was best known for helping people and the love she shared towards her fur babies and her family, especially her brother Gary, whom she raised as her own son. She married the love of her life, Thomas R. Probasco, on March 19, 1995.

She is survived by her brother, Gary (Jodi) Bickford; her sisters, Debbie Stage, of Indiana, and Betty Davis of Zanesville; her niece and nephews Stacey and Ryan Saxton, and Clifford McCarty; and her many friends whom she worked with at the Hampton Inn.

In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her husband who passed away on October 28, 2014, Thomas R. Probasco; a sister; Lynda McCall; and her nephews, Mark and Mickey McCarty.

Per her wishes Elaine will be cremated and laid to rest with her beloved husband Thomas, in Woodlawn Cemetery, at a later date under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
