Dwayne Richard Price

Dwayne Richard Price, 66, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in the loving presence of his family in the comfort of his home.  Dwayne was born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 24, 1960 to Delores Wallace Price. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, brother, and friend who cherished the time he spent with those he loved most. His family meant the world to him, and he especially loved his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.

Dwayne enjoyed watching sports, and his favorite team was The Ohio State Buckeyes. Whether cheering on his favorite team or spending precious time with his family, he found happiness in the things he loved. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the special place he held in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.

Dwayne leaves behind his loving wife, Tamara Price; sons, Jamier (Destiny) Humphrey, Jerăn (Debra Murrell) Crockett, Patrick (Evelyn) Parks, and Kevin Parks; daughters, Sheniquia Parks and Shannon Parks; sister, Stacey Wallace; brother, Sherman (Carla) Wallace; a host of beloved grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Marsha (Carlos) Beckley, Paula Humphrey and Recikia Humphrey; brother-in-law, Quintin Humphrey; and special friends, Lance (April) Commodores.

In addition to his family and friends who will miss him dearly, Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Deloris Wallace, and his daughter, Shaujaunica Parks.

Dwayne's passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who loved him. Though his family and friends will miss his presence, they will forever cherish the memories they shared, the love he gave, and the special moments that will remain in their hearts. His memory will live on through the generations of family he loved so dearly and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Dwayne at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 10AM to 12 Noon. A burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
