Donald Eugene Moore

Donald Eugene Moore, 95, of Zanesville, died at 9:23 am on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born January 5, 1930, in Barnesville, OH, a son of the late Charles Edward and Sarah (Higgenbotham) Moore. Donald was employed by United Technologies for many years, and had proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a man of many hobbies, including flying, gardening and genealogy. Don loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. He liked having long conversations, and could often be found enjoying the company of his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son Adam (Tracie) Moore; grandchildren Kyle (Hallie) Moore, Alex Moore, and Heather (Jeremy) Hall; a great grandson, Bennett Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife Adelaide (McCort) Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
