D. Maxine (Helmick) Tharp

D. Maxine Taylor Tharp, 88, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away at 1:20 P.M. on Monday, September, 27, 2021 at Superior Residence at Ocala Hills, Ocala. FL. She was born February 23, 1933, in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Frederick and Golda (Eubank) Helmick. She lived in Norwich and worked as a legal secretary in Zanesville for attorneys and judges. She was also a long time member of National Secretaries.

Surviving is a daughter, Diane Lovell of Dunnellon, FL and a son Douglas Taylor (Jan Larche) of Logansville, GA. She has 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Delbert Taylor and Ken Tharp.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
