Dianna Kay Williamson

Dianna “Dee” Kay Williamson, 79, of Dresden went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday April 9, 2026 while at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville while under the loving care of the staff of the Oaks and Shrivers Hospice. She was born January 12, 1947 and grew up in Roseville, the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Lewis) Bowen.

She loved healthcare and spent most of her life in it. She worked in the Zanesville hospitals, local doctors’ offices, and became a firefighter and advanced-EMT. At 54 she went back to Ohio University and proudly became an RN. She loved to read, crochet, and gamble, but mostly she loved to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Don Williamson, after 60 years of life together almost entirely in Dresden. She will also be forever remembered and loved by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dew (Valerie) Williamson and Dirk (Jennifer) Williamson, 6 grandchildren, Margo (Nathan) Asire, Stefan (Reese) Williamson, DJ (Amanda) Bobst, Douglas (Sarah) Bobst, Natalie Williamson, Savannah Colvin, and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in Death by her parents, and her sister, Jackie Wiseman.

At Dee’s request, she will be cremated with no viewings or services. She wished for the family to hold a private celebration of life at a later date. A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Shrivers Hospice, 2052 E Pike, Zanesville, OH 43701.
