Diane "Jane" Girton

Diane “Jane” Girton, 78, of Grove City, died at 1:26 P.M. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 20, 1946, in Carnegie PA., a daughter of the late Herbert and Gladys Evelyn (McDaniel) Rimmel. Jane was employed as bookkeeper, a job she loved for M.E.G. Enterprises. She found joy in knitting, crocheting, and her yorkie dog “Kai”. Jane loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Marie (Tony) Fenice and Michelle Boeshansz; four grandchildren, Aron Krause, Dane (Haylie) Fenice, Kendall Fenice, and John Boeshansz; and three great grandchildren, Jayce, Carli, and Rylin; her sister, Sue (Rimmel) Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law, Malinda (Dennis) McWilliams, Nancy Rimmel, and Kathy (Don) Girton –Pfaff.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mark E. Girton whom she married February 22, 1969; and her son Scott Allen Girton and her brother Jerry Rimmel.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service starting at 12:00 NOON on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Celebrant Lindsay Michel officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Mark at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
