Charles “Chuck” Lee Wisecarver, 73, of Zanesville, died at 6:32 P.M. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born October 5, 1951, in Zanesville, a son of the late Dorothy E. Wisecarver. Chuck worked for the Lear Corporation for thirty-two years as a material handler and later retired from Walmart. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302. Charles enjoyed old western movies, cartoons, fishing and picking on the people he loved.

He is survived by his wife Jane (Gutridge) Wisecarver, whom he married on December 3, 1977; a son, Louis (Carrie) Wisecarver; two brothers, John Ross and Harold (Joyce) Ross; three sisters, Mary (Clyde) Soller, Patricia Geyer; brother-in-law, Larry Valentine and his beloved companion, his cat, Duke.

In addition to his mother Charles is preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Valentine; sister-in-law, Cody Ross; brother-in-law, David Geyer

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.

A burial will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10;30 AM in the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Fred Hatfield officiating.
