Charles E. Butcher

Charles E. “Sonny” Butcher, 77, of Zanesville, died at 5:34 P.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born July 1, 1944, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles W. and Mary (Glosser) Butcher. He retired from Economy Linen and was an avid fisherman who had a love for motorcycles, his family, and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela (Bob) Hollar and Stacy Butcher; three grandchildren, Katrina (Justin) Haynes, Macyla (Mark) Gradert, and Austin (Dawn) Bookless; twelve great-grandchildren; a special grandson, Marcellus; a sister, Judy Butcher Meanor; a brother, Randy (Janet) Butcher; and step-mother, Alice Reed-Butcher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharma; and a niece, Patricia Swisher.
