Cathy Ann Powell

Cathy Ann Powell, 70, of Zanesville, died at 11:40 P.M. on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born May 17, 1955, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Bonnie (Mount) Hayes. Cathy worked as a hair dresser and was a long time member of the Eastern Star. She loved making cards and crafts and was the “Rick Flair” of Bingo. She found great joy in spoiling her granddaughters.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, James Randall Powell whom she married, June 7, 1975; her son Eric (Darlene) Powell; her granddaughters, Abigail Powell and Jessica Powell; a sister, Marlene Mack; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Rick Hayes; and her brother-in-law Doug Mack.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANEVILLE at our LOCALLY OWNED & OPERATED CREMATORY.
