Catharine M. Stutes

Catharine M. (Rice) Stutes, 69, of Zanesville, died at 7:25 A.M. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Beckett House Healthcare and Rehabilitation, New Concord. She was born December 8, 1955, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Ritchey) Rice. Catharine retired after 35 years of service from Brockway Glass working as an inspector and packer. Catharine found joy in bowling with friends and she loved flowers and spending time working in her flower beds.

She is survived by her brother Gregory Rice; one nephew, Matthew (Katie) Rice and Keith (Autumnn) Rice; great-nieces, Hannah, Lainey, Brynleigh and Raelyn; and great-nephew, Kane.

A private Graveside service will be held with Pastor Chris Steele officiating. Catharine will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Sonora. All arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
