Brett Alan Hartman

Brett Alan Hartman, 60, of Zanesville, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, died at 3:21 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born December 21, 1964, in Zanesville, a son of Myra (Six) Hartman and the late Larry “Butch” Hartman. He was a dedicated family man who found his greatest joy in spending time with loved ones, especially his cherished granddaughters. Brett was a man of many talents, taking great pride in each industry that he worked in. He devoted his life to the trucking industry and was a proud and active member of the American Legion for over 20 years. 

He is survived by his children, Beau (Allie) Hartman, Alexis Hartman (Sean Nelson), and Brianna Hartman; a brother Bart Hartman; and three grandchildren Maci and Maren Hartman and Ellie Nelson.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 pm until the time of funeral service which will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Mr. William Meaige officiating. A cremation will follow.
