Betty Gayle Van Dyne

Betty Gayle Van Dyne, 78, of Zanesville passed away peacefully in her home while in the loving presence of her family on April 25, 2026. She was born in Zanesville on July 15, 1947 to Scott and Hazel (Johnson) Higgins.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Van Dyne whom she married on February 5, 1966. She will be deeply missed by her children, Lisa, Eric, and Valerie, her grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, and Austin, and her sisters, Diane Evans and Sandy Raub.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, at OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
