Anna Mae Hunter

Anna Mae Hunter, 96, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, at Adams Lane Care Center in the loving presence of her family. Born on December 11, 1929, in Zanesville, Ohio to Clyde and Adeline (Hysol) Lynn. Anna Mae lived a long and meaningful life centered on family, gratitude, and the simple joys that brought happiness to her days. She worked for many years as an inspector at Brockway Glass, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Anna Mae found enjoyment in life's quieter moments. She loved working crossword puzzles, watching funny animal videos, and never missed an opportunity to enjoy an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger starring Chuck Norris. She was a woman who did not ask for much, but always delighted in a small sweet treat brought by a visitor. Whether it was a favorite snack, a thoughtful gift, or even something as simple as a package of tissues, Anna Mae expressed genuine appreciation for every act of kindness. Christmas was especially dear to her heart, and she looked forward each year to the joy of exchanging gifts with those she loved.

She will be deeply missed by her children, William Lewis Hunter of Texas, Betty Potts, Judy Lovingshimer, Jerry Hunter, Sandy (Bart) Stine, Janice Day, and Terry Hunter; her grandchildren, Tina (Jayson) Phillips, Trina (John) Wisecarver, Monika (Dale) Liptak, Eric (Katie) Settles, and Robert (Holly) Settles, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Skylar Phillips, Beau Wisecarver, Brady Wisecarver, Harper Wisecarver, Bella Liptak, Brandy Stanley, and Chad Antill; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Settles; and her son-in-law, Charles Lovingshimer, Jr.
