Alma J. (Wilson) Reeves

Alma J. Reeves, 92, of Zanesville, died at 9:55 P.M. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at her home. She was born February 17, 1929, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Dwight and Elizabeth Sarah (Gorley) Wilson. She was a teacher’s aide for Franklin Local Schools, a homemaker, and a member of Chandlersville Church of Christ. She loved her children and grandchildren, and was a good Christian woman.

She is survived by three daughters, Beth (Larry) Moore, Kathy Wyer, and Bobbi (Mark) Hardesty; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sons-in-laws, Duane White, Steve Garrett, Larry Greulich, and Vance Parkinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Franklin Reeves, who died in 1964; four daughters, Shirley Parkinson, Phyllis Garrett, Pam White, and Tam Greulich; a grandson, Danny Wyer; a son-in-law, John Wyer; and a special cousin, Bonnie Merz.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Chandlersville Church of Christ, 9075 Chandlersville Road, Chandlersville, with Mike Smith officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Salt Creek Cemetery, Chandlersville.
