Adelaide "Addy" (Mccort) Moore

Adelaide “Addy” Moore, 88, of Zanesville, died at 7:10 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Brookdale-Senior Living, Zanesville surrounded by loving family. She was born January, 11, 1934 in Temperanceville, a daughter of the late Patrick and Bertha McLaughlin McCort. She was a graduate of Batesville High School Class of 1952, was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Addy worked for Ohio Bell Telephone Company, Archer Answering Service and Muskingum Area Technical College as a cook for the Day Care.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Moore; a son, Adam (Tracie) Moore; three grandchildren, Kyle (Hallie) Moore, Alexander Moore and Heather Moore; a sister, Edna Steele and a niece, Maryann (Rick) Ebersole.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two infant sons, Patrick and Daniel Moore; three sisters and four brothers.

No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora with Fr. Martin J. Ralko officiating.
