Thomas D. Musselman, 68, of Zanesville, died at 1:45 A.M. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 22, 1949, in Zanesville, a son of Catherine Rowan Musselman and the late Michael Musselman. He was a 1967 graduate of Rosecrans High School and a mouldmaker at Zanesville Mould. Thomas was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, the Knights of Columbus, and a faithful volunteer for over twenty years at the Salvation Army. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mella Paynter Musselman, of the home; two sons, Troy (Andrea) Musselman and Shane (Valerie Smith) Musselman; a daughter, Brooke (Jason) Smith; ten grandchildren, Trevor, Chloe and Ellee Scott, Shana (Jason) Neal, Cameron, Alexa, Jayla, and Skylar Musselman, Evan and Owen Smith; four sisters, Kathleen (Gary) Copp, Mary Ann (Richard) Bigger, Alberta (Norman) Hatmaker, and Jane (Robert) Awtrey; five brothers, Michael (Corinne), Camillus (Kathleen), Pat (Kaye), Tim, Vince (Lori), Dan (Edie), and Rich (Debbie); a sister-in-law, Sandy Boedeker; many nieces and nephews; and special pet, Pokie. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Scott, and his faithful dog, Storm. Friends and family may call from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 144 North Fifth Street, Zanesville, with Father Jan C.P. Sullivan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
