Roberta Moyer Obituary

Roberta J. Moyer, 87, of Zanesville, died at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born September 30, 1929, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Roy and Christina Wilson Dixon. She retired from Brockway Glass, was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, and liked to read books and play bingo. She is survived by three sons, Don Moyer, John (Henriette) Moyer, and Roger (Sharon) Moyer; a daughter, Carol Swank; six grandchildren, Adam Swank, Travis Moyer, Stephanie Moyer, Eric Moyer, Daniel Moyer and Jason Moyer; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond (Marjorie) Dixon, Ted Dixon, and Russell Dixon; and a sister, Lorrine Ricketts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tabitha Swank and a sister, Christina Ann Dixon. Friends and family may call from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to funeral services which will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, with Pastor Mitch Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
