Peggy Orwig Obituary

Peggy Orwig, 90, of Zanesville, died at 7:46 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born July, 17, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George and Bessie West Adams. Peggy had been a floral arranger for Hilltop florist and was an avid Bingo player. Surviving are a daughter, Connie (Derry) Null of Zanesville; a son, Ronald (Kathy) Orwig of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Brad (Shannon) Null, Lori (Freddie Perrine) Barnhart, Lisa Null, Brent (Tammy) Orwig, and Julie Labaki; eight great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Orwig, whom she married on October 20, 1944 and who died June 30, 1987; a great-grandson, Alex Null; two sisters, Barbara Pennington and Pauline Branch and two brothers, Jim Adams and Dick Copeland. Friends and family may call from 2:00 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2018, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Paul at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
