Mark E. Girton, 70, of Etna, died on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus. He was born August 16, 1946, in Zanesville, son of the late Elmer N. and Mary Kathryn Brooker Girton. He was a 1964 graduate of Zanesville H.S. and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mark was the proud owner of M.E.G Enterprises for 28 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane Jane Rimmel Girton, of the home, whom he married February 22, 1969; two daughters, Marie (Tony) Fenice and Michelle Boeshansz; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Malinda (Dennis) McWilliams; and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Scott Girton, and a brother, Mike Girton. Calling hours from 6 8 P.M. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
