Kathleen S. Chema, 85, of Zanesville, died at 8:15 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Genesis Hospital, Emergency Room, Zanesville. She was born June 8, 1931 in Harlan, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Louis David and Harriett J. Dewey Wilson. She retired as an assembler for Essex Wire and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Rosemary Mitchell of Newark, three sons, Robert John Chema Jr. Of Bradenton, Fl., Mark Stephen (Mary) Chema of Zanesville , and Michael Louis Chema of St. Clairsville, six grandchildren, Chad A. (Sherry) Chema, Lisa (Russ) Harper, Christopher Chema, Carrie ( Adam) Strickler, Scott L. Mitchell and Ryan (Tara) Mitchell, six great grandchildren, Hayley Harper, Blake Wilson,Madison Wilson, Reid Mitchell, Everleigh Mitchell and Bryson Mitchell and a sister, Flowleen Willison of Crooksville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Chema, who died March 27, 2006; four brothers, Buck, LeRoy,Paul and Tom Wilson and three sisters, Grace Albright, Mabel Witt and Connie Cooper. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main Street, Zanesville with Fr. Martin J. Ralko as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
