Harold D. Pemberton, 85, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully in his sleep at 3:03 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Willow Haven Care Center, Zanesville. He was born June 3, 1933, in New Lexington, a son of the late David and Mary Edwards Pemberton. He was a Foundry worker at BWXT Technologies and loved to work on cars.
He is survived by four children, Tyran Lee (Adena) Pemberton, Lana Steele, Carmen Renee (Larry) McGee, and Eric (Sharon) Pemberton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Freda and Stella.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rayma Lee Linscott Pemberton, who died December 8, 1992; and two sisters, Eva McClintok and Loretta McConahay.
Graveside services will be held at 1:15 P.M., Friday, March 8, 2019 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville with Chaplain Daniel Fullen officiating. No calling hours will be held.
