Jerry L. Adams Sr., 70, of Bryan, formerly of Zanesville, Ohio died Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Community Hospital and Wellness Center in Bryan. He was born on December 2nd 1941 in Zanesville to the late Everett D. and Delores K. (Pettrey) Adams.
Jerry graduated from Philo High School in 1959. He was a long haul truck driver and drove for J.B. Hunt for over 20 years. Jerry was a member of the Restoration Fellowship Church in Bryan.
Surviving are a daughter, Jodi (Craig) Creech of Galena, Ohio; a son, Jon S. Adams of Wylie, TX; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, James (Jodi) Adams of Bryan, Bill (Judy) Adams of Zanesville, Donald (Kathy) Adams of Zanesville; three sisters, Sue (Ronnie) Sullivan of Somerset, Ohio, Kay (Harold) Rupe of Duncan Falls, Ohio and Libby (Roger) Keck of Lewisville, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita (Mullen) Adams in July of 2007, a son, Jerry Adams, Jr. and a sister, Jeanne Williamson.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where the funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. with Donald Adams officiating. Jerry will be laid to rest next to his wife, Juanita, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
