God Bless you all and hold you in His Loving Arms during you time of sorrow and loss. She must have been one of the great mothers like ours.
I believe the Good Lord is trying to let us know something here.
It is the strangest thing and we hope someone who knew Reba might help us answer some questions we have about an old document we found among our mother's belongings. We know it was something she cherished.
My mother, Esther (Wettereau) LaRose passed in 1987 and I believe Reba and her were young friends in Amsterdam N.Y. in the 1930s. The old faded typed document is 3 verses of a song titled "What A Friend We Have In Mother". Our family lore tells us that it is sung to the tune of "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". After the 3 verses, it states,
"Typed By/ Miss Reba Lepper, July 5, 1939, Completed ::::: 11:08 PM"
If anyone has any idea about the relationship between my mother and Reba and can shed any light on this song, our entire family would be forever grateful. May God Bless, Keith LaRose, Warren, MA.
