Kenny, you were the best father-in-law I could have ever dreamed to have had! I really look up to you and respect you with all I have. You were a man of integrity, honor and respect. Thank you for raising Matt into a wonderful man, husband and father as well! Thank you for all the memories and guidance that you have given to all of us! Jack was a lucky little man to have you as his Papaw! We will keep you in our hearts forever and look forward to the day when we will all meet again. May you rest in peace and watch over us until we are together again in Heaven. We love you so much!

I spent many years going to the Genesis Fitness Center where I became friends with Ken. Told him one day we girls had come from Tim Hortons where we had coffee and donuts. He said "where's mine"? So, the next day we took him coffee and a donut. He got such a big laugh out of that. He was so friendly to all the clients at the gym. We have missed him since he got sick and couldn't work. And, now we'll forever miss him. He was a good person and friendly to all. Kay Vandenbark and the gang from the 10 a.m. Senior Aerobics class.

About 15 years ago I stopped in at the Fitness Center to see if I there might be a job available for my daughter, Colleen. That is the day that I met Kenny. He was so kind and helpful to me that I felt like we became friends immediately. Colleen did get a job there and she really enjoyed working with Ken.
I am truly sorry for the family''s loss. Kenny was a very special person and will be missed greatly.

So sorry for the loss of Kenny, I remember when Dorothy was at the nursing home and he come in everyday to check on her. It was time for her discharge and Kenny, Debbie, and his father asked me if I would come help out for a few hours a day to take care of her, and I was honored out of all of the staff who took care of her that I was asked to come home and take care of her. I then joined the fitness center where Kenny was always full of smiles and enjoyed what he did there. He was a determined man who knew where his destiny in life was and now he has met that destiny. May God be with you and your family during this time of grieve. My deepest sympathy.

Colleen, Andy, Matt and family
I’m glad Chris Cassley mentioned the “van”. There were a couple of times we neighbors had to push it off the ice because Colleen didn’t make the turn to get up the drive. Shhh don’t tell Kenny. Kenny can read this about this now and share with his new Angel buddies. And how did he mow those perfectly straight strips on over 2 acres of lawn? We have lived next door for 36 years and are still amazed. Kenny will be sadly missed and our condolences and prayers go out to the family. Walnut Ln wont be the same but the memories will last forever.

I worked with Ken for 12+ years at the fitness center. He was what I''''d call my 2nd dad. He gave me advice on anything and everything during our "morning chats". I''''ll never forget the time I can to work so excited b/c I''''d just gotten 2 new tires. Ken''''''''s response, "How many do you usually get?" I said, "One" and I thought he was going to fall over laughing so hard!! I remember the song Achy Breaky Heart came on the radio one day and Ken saying, "This is one of my favorite songs!" Then, after that, every time it came on and he was working, we''''''''d turn it up and laugh! We shared soooooo many stories and laughter. His sweet smile and sparkle in his eye-- I sure will miss that:(

To the Windland family. I am so sorry for your lost. I just learned of Kenny''''s passing. I knew Kenny by being in the same Sunday School class and then confirmation class at Trinity Lutheran Church. And later he worked with my husband at Big Bear South. Alot of memories from years gone by. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
