Thomas Huey Obituary

Thomas L. Huey, 80, of Zanesville, died at 10:44 A.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at The Oaks of Northpointe. He was born January 10, 1938, in Zanesville a son of the late Robert Edward and Altha Forker Huey. Thomas was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a truck driver for 30 years at Putnam Transfer and attended North Terrace Church of Christ. He was a member of the Lafayette Lodge #79, the Muskingum County Beagle Club and Bull Terrier Club of America. He is survived by his wife, Carole Osborne Huey; four daughters, Patricia L. Huey of Virginia, Jennifer A. (Thomas) Roberts of Midland, Texas, Erin L. (Rick) Wilson of Frazeysburg, Cathleen C. Huey of Philo; a sister, Patricia A. Huey of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren, Meredith Crown Smith, Alyson Roberts, Kali Roberts Luck, Ryan Wilson, Lindsay Wilson Moore, Abbie Wilson Harris, Rikki Wilson, Jared Hubbard, Jordan Hubbard, Taylor Kimble and Katie Kimble; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Jean Huey of Nashport and Deloris Huey of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Richard, Benny, Gene and James Huey; a sister Gloria Ripple. Friends and family may call from 4-6 P.M. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701 with Masonic Services to be held 3:45 P.M. by Lafayette Lodge # 79.
