Ruby Grimes Obituary

Ruby J. Grimes, 88, died at 8:26 A.M. on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio. She was born March 9, 1928 in Matewan, West Virginia of the late Sylvester and Bertha Haney Perkins. Mrs. Grimes was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by two daughters, Jonda (Jerry) Harper and Diana Todd; three sons, Gary (Nancy) Bussa, David (Tonda) Bussa, and Robert (Jackie) Bussa; fifteen grandchildren; forty great- grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and two very special friends, Dawn Jeffrey and Diana Fontaine. She is preceded in death by her husbands, John E. Grimes and Robie E. Bussa; a grandson, Michael Todd; a great-great-grandson, Michael Doyle; three sisters including Wanda Bell; eight brothers; and a son-in-law Mike Todd. Friends and family may call from Noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 12, 2016 at 1 P.M. at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
