Kyle Sowers Obituary

Kyle William Sowers, 29, of Zanesville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at his home. He was born July 12, 1987, in Zanesville, a son of Robert Sowers and Trudy Bolin Matz. Kyle was a 2006 graduate of West Muskingum High School and was a 2014 Graduate of Zane State College with an Associates Degree in Business. He had worked at Roosters, was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ softball team, loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers, enjoyed golf, and was an all-around sports fan. He is survived by his father, Robert (Sarah) Sowers; his mother, Trudy (Mike) Matz; his sister, Kelsey (Coleman) Forrestal; two step-brothers, Matt Roby and Jacob Roby; niece, Emma Forrestal; nephew, Owen Forrestal; maternal grandmother, Marie Bolin; and step-grandparents, William E. (Sarah) Roby. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Russell M. Bolin; and paternal grandparents, Marcella J. and H. William Sowers. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 18, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, with Mr. William Meaige officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter Society: 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, OH 43701.
