James A. McKnight, 81, of Dresden, died at 1:15 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Willow Haven Care Center. James was born on June 13, 1935 in Coshocton to the late Leroy and Ruth Woodrow McKnight. He is a U.S. Korean Airforce Veteran and worked as a sander for Jones Metal in West Lafayette. James was a member of First Baptist Church in Dresden. Surviving are his loving wife Juanita G. McMillen McKnight of the home; two sons, James L. (Theresa) McKnight of Warsaw, Jonathan (Christie) McKnight of Coshocton; two daughters, Julie McKnight of Canton and Kelly McKnight of West Lafayette; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother of his children, Bernadine McKnight. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Full military honors being presented by the United States AirForce in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058.
