Hobart Wilkinson

Hobart Wilkinson, 88, of Zanesville, died at 11:48 P.M. on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Genesis Emergency Room. He was born July 14, 1929 in Indian Creek, KY, a son of the late Edward H. and Cora E. Wilkinson. He was the owner of Wilkinson Mowing and Landscaping and a member of the Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Carman Wilkinson whom he married September 28, 1953; two daughters, Sharon Wilkinson of Lancaster and Susan (Leonard) Hill, Jr. of Zanesville; two granddaughters, Lindsey Hill of Grove City and Abby Hill of Zanesville; a sister, Bertha (Garnett) Sweeney of Liberty, KY; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth Goins, Edith Patton, Beulah Pack, and Ruby Edwards; and four brothers, Ambers, Paul, Carl, and Kenneth. Friends and family may call from 11:00 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Leonard Hill, Jr. officiating.
