Heather Deem Obituary

Heather Deem, 39, of Zanesville, died at 2:00 A.M. on Sunday, November 13, 2016 due to an automobile accident. She was born April 5, 1977 in Zanesville, daughter of Jeffrey and Debbie Pollock of Zanesville. She graduated from Zanesville High School, class of 1995, in which she was a member of the band and was an excellent flutist, and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a Member Service Representative at the Ohio Educational Credit Union for over 13 years. Heather enjoyed music very much, was a die-hard fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and a Dallas Cowboy fan. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband David A. Deem, of the home, whom she married September 30, 1998; a son, Dayvid (Faith Lesesne) Deem; mother-in-law Clarys Deem of Zanesville; brother-in-law Tom (Peggy) Deem of Texas; two sister-in-laws, Leona Lovejoy of Zanesville, and Mary (Craig) Bidwell of Marysville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; an uncle Gary (Sharon) Green of Euclid; special friends, Adrienne Smith, Sarah Topolewski, Samantha Newsom, Shannon Keiffer, all of Zanesville; self-proclaimed second son, Jake Morgan of Zanesville; and many other friends and co-workers. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Jack Deem; maternal grandparents, Mamaw and Papaw Green; and paternal grandfather, Grandpa Dave Pollock. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Animal Shelter Society, 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio. Friends and family may call from 12:00- 2:00 P.M. and 6:00 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016 with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park.
