Gregory K. Melvin Sr., 67, of Zanesville, died at 11:14 A.M. on Thursday October 13, 2016, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born September 14, 1949 in Zanesville, son of late Earl Melvin and Mary Murray Robinson. Gregory was a Veteran in the United States Army and retired from Avon Distribution Center. He is survived by three children, Gregory K. (Lynnesay) Melvin, Jr. of Alaska, Shanon L. (Brian Michel) Miller of Zanesville, Keith M. (Terri) Melvin of Nashport and several family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Greenwood Cemetery, New Soldiers Field, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
