Frederick Fred A. Wilson, 81, of Zanesville, died peacefully at Genesis Hospital with family at his side at 12:37 A.M. on Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born on December 3, 1935 in Zanesville to the late Victor and Verna Corbin Wilson. He was a graduate of Zanesville High School, Class of 1953 and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Fred retired after 31 years of service from Pepsi Cola and has enjoyed an active life of golf, travel, motorcycling and family events. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Carol Graves Wilson of the home; three sons, Dennis (Beth) Wilson of Zanesville, Gregg (Annie) Wilson of Heath and Rick (Kindra) Wilson of Alexandria; six grandchildren, Lindsay (Nate) Mauer, Carly Wilson, Zach (Carrie Patterson) Wilson, Lacey (Cory) Conley, Crystal Wilson and Edward Wilson; two-step grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) Makin and Shawn Adams; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Grace France of Zanesville; a brother, Ronald Wilson of Zanesville; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilson of Zanesville. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Wilson and Dave Wilson; and a sister, Ruth Frick. Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Martin J. Ralko officiating. Fred will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home.
