Carl Wood Obituary

Carl Eugene Wood, 80, of Zanesville, died at 6:36 P.M. on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta. He was born August 22, 1937, in Corning, a son of the late Carl and Agnes McKee Wood. He was employed by Starlight Industries and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. He is survived by two nephews, William (Judith) Rizer and Bruce Woods; five nieces, Patricia Ann, Deborah (Randy) Flowers, Lynne Bush, Karen (Jon) Dantz and Ella Newell; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Bush and Pat Rizer; and two brothers, Jack Woods and Russell Wood. Friends and family may call from 11:00 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
