Bonnie Lou Sims, 89, of Zanesville, died at 7:35 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. She was born May, 7, 1927 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Clarence and Pansy Zollar McCutcheon. She had worked as a cook for the Maysville School District and was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by sons, Jeff (Bonnie) Sims and Randy Sims of Zanesville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Sims, who died October 19, 1996; daughters, Marcy Murphy and Marlene Webb; four sisters, Ilene, Pauline, Ethel, and Freda; and three brothers, Dale, Max, and Dick. Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
