Barbara F. Anderson, 64, of Zanesville, died at 7:42 P.M. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Genesis Hospital- Emergency Room. Barbara was born November 24, 1952 a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Conkle Frank. She graduated from Kent State University with a BA, started teaching at Zanesville City Schools and retired from the Muskingum County Elections Bureau. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Barbara loved playing bells in the bell choir and singing in the church and in the Messiah. Surviving are her loving husband, Billie L. Anderson of the home; three brothers, Steve (Nancy) Frank, John (Kathy) Frank and Andrew (Sue) Frank; a sister, Rosemary (Lynn) Tharaldson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Aimee Anderson. Friends and family may call from 5-8P.M. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 116 N. 7th Street, Zanesville, with Rev. Mark A. Combs officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest at Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot, Oh. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Muskingum County Democratic Club, Scholarship Endorsement in memory of Brenda Anderson, 534 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701.
